Egg Drop Soup
Sauted onions blended with mint and brought to simmer over low heat.
Eggs are added one by one into the mixture and cooked for a few mintunes before serving.
Delicious porridge made with barley cooked with chicken, spiced with cinnamon and served hot for breakfast. This is on of my favorite persain food recipes.

Chickpea Beef Soup
The famous Abgusht or as street vendors call them 'Teezy'. Beef chunks and bones stewed along with chickpeas,potatoes,tomatoes and spiced with garlic and onions.
Before serving, broth is drained into a serving bowl. The remaining beef, chickpeas and potato mixture is mashed together to make a chucky paste.

Seasoned groundbeef meatballs, stewed in pomegranate juice with rice, lentils, sauteed raisins and mints leaves.
Interesting mix of sweet and tangy flavors, full of protein from the lentils.
